JH has nothing to do with Burning Sun (BS) itself but Burning Sun Gate was the reason why JH's case was made up so I need to start from there.

What is BS Gate? It started as a simple assault that occured in November 24th, 2018, and grew up into all kinds of crimes like drugs, prostitution, sexual assaults (within the club, not JH's case), illegal filming (withing the club, too), police collusion, tax evasion and, etc. Later the scandal turned into political ties and it was non-stop growig up (as the media called it "the butterfly effect) but suddenly it took the strange twist into JJY's illegal filming and ended with sexual assault accusations against JJY, JH and 2 more friends.

And that's all - no one else got any punishment neither for the drugs and sexual crimes in the club, nor for the police and political corruption and collusion. More than 120 police officers and dozens of top prosecutors worked hard several months, but they couldn't find any other evidence than illegally obtained and forged chat and only 4 men guilty for having sex in drunk condition with drunk women. That's how ended the great "Gate" that shook the nation and that was designed to turn into the "Second Nongdan".

But let me introduce it step by step.
November 24, 2018, a man called Kim Sang Gyo (KSG) visited the club BS to celebrate his friend's b'day. After spending all the night in the club drinking only a glass of vodka and 3 glasses of champagne, he was leaving the club at about 6 am when he bumped into a woman (according to his words) who was trying to escape from a man, sitting in the VIP table.

KSG wanted to help the woman as he felt that it was a scene of sexual harassment but the man from the table hit him into the face. Then the club guards came, drew him outside the club and assaulted him violently. He escaped for a while and called police, but they started to beat him again. When police came, they saw the assault but instead of arresting the club guards they arrested KSG.

When he tried to protest, the police officer started to beat him, too. What happened that night/morning it's a long story you can read the links (in my blog).

But later, in December, KSG claimed the fact the he was assaulted in the club through various web sites. In response the club accused him for sexual assault - 3 female clients (later proved to be club MD's and drug dealers) filed a complaint that KSG sexually assaulted them and that's why the club guards reacted like this.

Then, on January 29, KSG posted a petition on the Blue House National Petition website. He complained not only from the assault but raised suspicions of collusion between the club BS and the police. The petition garnered more than 200,000 signatures in just one day (that's quite unusual). It attracted the attention of all the media and netizens and that's how everything started.
